Today was the Africa Aerospace and Defence 2010 air show at Ysterplaat air base in Cape Town, South Africa.




There was much walking around, much taking of photos, and lots of WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!

Protip: Standing behind a 200 ton C-17 Globemaster as it takes off is not a good idea.




(I don't actually have any photos from whilst standing behind it because that would have resulted in my camera lens being sand blasted into oblivion.)
